http://www.autohotkey.com/download/

and download basic. And install just follow defaults.

To create initial script just create a folder on server and right click, new, autohotkey script and just paste text in red above.

Right click on macro must say “edit script”

On the line “SendInput, !aii!bFluarix AFLUA660AB exp:072012{TAB}l^k”

Leave the !aii!b     and {tab}l^k

The bit in the middle is flu batch and expiry date i.e. what we want to change. So edit this to suit your batch and expiry date.

!a is calling add menu

I is immunisation

I is flu

!b is batch number

Fluarix AFLUA660AB exp:072012  is batch no and expiry date

Tab tabs to site

L is left arm

^k is ok

So we want to edit Fluarix AFLUA660AB exp:072012

Once done save as enter name and batch number and site as filename, choose all files and save. To change to right arm just edit l after {tab} to a R. then save as renaming to batch no and site.  You should now have 2 files both with same batch number but one left and one right. Right click on each file and compile, this creates a new file with same name but with an extension of .exe meaning it is an executable file.

Open your flu guideline in edit mode.

Click on last flu button then click on application in floating toolbar. Browse to your new flu macro (the .exe  green one) untick the display as icon.  Name as batch and site. Do same for other site. If you then click on button before your new ones and on floating toolbar choose new line it will put your new buttons on new line.

Come out of design mode and if you have a dummy patient open them in consultation manager, go to flu guideline and click on both new buttons, then click on journal and check that the flu imm is correct with batch and site correct.

You can add the flu guideline to a tab in consultation manager. Right click on any tab then organise tab and add. Select guideline view then ok. Next click on guidelines and move up. Leaving sci gateway as last tab. Then click ok. And ok to change view.  Next right click on guidelines tab and view options. Tab label call flu. Click on show specific guideline initially, then browse to flu guideline. Once setup if you are doing a flu clinic etc and want flu guideline to open as default just right click on flu tab  view options and click initial tab.
